This unit outlined the various equipment and teaching aids that may be available in a classroom/school. It covers the various reasons you would use each aid and how to do so effectively. Knowing what AIDS are available and how to use them is ver valuable in preparing a lesson. Being consistent but varied in how you use the teaching aids will help keep students focused and motivated to learn. Such as regularly using the board to present new grammar ideas but having the students activate these new ideas in different ways. Perhaps on day it is with a filmed role play activity that can be played back. And another day it is having them prepare a presentation on the board using the new rule.
