This unit introduced and explained good qualities of teachers and learners. Good teachers care about teaching and their students have many roles in the classroom. I learned that in my own classes I am often a prompter; asking students for more detail in conversation. In regard to students, teaching different ages, even of the same level, can lead to very different requirements for the teacher. For example, an elementary level class of children should be more activity focused but with an elementary level adult class, the class may need to be more manager/controller style because the adults may feel more comfortable absorbing the information from the teacher rather than through practice.
