This unit talks about the four major groups of learning and behavior theories which are the maturation, environmental, constructivism and cognitive theories. This also shows the age group of young learners, how they learn, and the things that the teacher have to consider when teaching these ages. Furthermore, this lesson also shows the receptive and productive skills according to the students' interests. Last but not the least, the seating arrangements are also mentioned according to the teaching purposes. After learning this unit, I have gained more important knowledge about teaching young learners because of the essential information that has been given and explained in a simple way.
