This unit talks about Past Tense and clarifies it's usage throughout the english language. Like the previous unit on Present Tense, there are 4 categories within the Past Tense: Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect, and Past Perfect Continuous. Each serves a distinct role and has many usages within each. Past Simple is well, the most simple. Typically, the affirmative version is to add -ed or -er to the base form. Example: He wanted, They waited, and The Robot walked. However, there can be irregular versions of many past verbs. These aren't as simple as \"add -ed\" but must be simply memorized. The negative and question forms of Past Simple introduce an auxiliary verb of \"did.\
