This unit covered the importance of reading and listening in regards to learning a foreign language, and how best to teach students those particular skills. When it comes to audio and visual comprehension, there are a variety of ways of learning which means that teaching has to be varied so that the majority of students will be able to learn and understand to the best of their abilities. This is further complicated by the fact that we, as human being, have several different ways of listening to and reading information. This unit went into detail of the different ways people process information and gave some examples of how best to help students learn to read and listen to a new language.
