This unit went over conditionals, if/then statements and how, why, and when to use them. This topic did present a challenge for me, a native speaker, which I greatly appreciated. I had a conscious understanding of what conditionals are, it's just that the differences between the types of conditionals were so nuanced, it required me to focus harder to understand. It's fun to learn new things, or reiterate things that I had forgotten. The second half of the unit dealt with turning Direct Speech into Reported Speech, the \"he said, she said.\" I feel that this gave me good way to explain tense changes. Before, it was one of those things that I knew but found it difficult to explain or teach.
