I didn't realize how similar 'Future Tenses' and' Present Tenses' are with each other. Unit 8 seemed confusing at first until I looked at both future and present tenses together. The sentence structure and usages for each type of future tense was further understood when I watched the video.There are a lot of fun ideas to use during the activate stage to help the students understand future tenses. You could use the basic idea of the game 'Battleship' to engage the use of future tenses when searching for scheduled events. Creating schedules and trying to match up students with the same plans on the same date would be another idea for the activate stage. Future tenses will be fun to teach.
