This unit went through the different forms of past tenses, explaining their form and use in enough detail for comprehension but not too much as to become confusing. The unit covered past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. As a native English speaker using English verbs correctly is natural for me, however I did not previously know the technical terms for these forms of the past tense. I had simply referred to them all as past tense. From this unit I have learned the true technical terms and forms for all of the past tenses and their usages. I find the example sentences particularly helpful as they really clarify the use and form of each type of past tense.
