This grammar unit covered a variety of information about the four present tenses. I learned how to properly construct the form of each present tense and how to properly use each form. I also learned how to correctly form contractions, which are commonly used with the different present tense forms. The information on typical student mistakes for each tense helped me to be able to identify where and why students make the errors and to be better able to explain how to correct the mistakes. I also learned about a variety of Activate teaching ideas that provide students with the opportunity to practice communicating using the different present tenses.
