While teaching students about Conditional speech and how the verbs will change, this unit emphasizes going very slowly. It's understandable. Even for a native English speaker, I sometimes got caught in making errors. This unit makes it clear that students make many mistakes in this area. The difficulties are also compounded by the terminology. Present perfect, present simple, past present, past simple, past continuous,etc etc. I don't even remember learning this terminology---ever---in school! Nevertheless, it's important to get the verb changes correct, and I would have to research extra methods for lessons depending on the level of my students.
