This unit presents many useful classroom activities, such as songs and rhymes, games, stories, drama, arts and crafts, as well as the seasonal activities. Each section gives clear examples and some tips, as well as things to avoid. There are also several detailed lesson plans for various levels, also some examples of teaching materials (wordsearch, flashcards, story cards). I mostly use all of these techniques in my classes, songs, stories and TPR with smaller kids, games with older kids. I have noticed that with teens it's tricky to use songs since their tastes are very different, also using famous songs from the past will result in eye rolling.
