This unit was primarily about choosing and using course books and other materials in class. The unit detailed some widely available course books and the benefits and disadvantages of using them. A checklist for gauging the usefulness of course books was included. Also mentioned was the difference between and usefulness of created material and authentic material. A number of handout style materials were included in this lesson. Using the provided materials as examples of what to create for students was helpful. On their own they would be useful but have greater utility as templates. I appreciated the links to downloadable and printable materials.
