In this unit I learned about all of the possible teaching aids that can be used in an English classroom and effective ways in which to use them. The most important information I learned in this lesson was the idea of planning what to write on the board. I have a problem with having a messy board, and it had never occurred to me that I should plan when and where to write things before the class. I believe using this idea will improve the students' ability to understand my lessons. I also found the idea of the use of video cameras to let the students self-evaluate themselves to be useful, and I'd like to incorporate it into my lessons in the future.
