Unit 17 talks about the wide variety of teaching aids used in the classroom. I like how this lesson in particular explained what each type of teacher aid is such as white board, OHP, IWB, video cassette, CD player, DVD, visual aids, web sources, etc, and the do's and don'ts involved with them. One of the things that stood out to me during this lesson was the use of a video recorder. I learned that ONLY students should use the recorder for educational activities to help them with pronunciation, and not the teacher for personal evaluation. I also liked how the unit supplied a vast variety of web sites and sources that could be used in the classroom.
