This unit teaches the fundamentals of teaching new language. It revisits the ESA structures of straight arrow, boomerang and patchwork in order to help students grasp the lesson material better. The most important aspects to learning new vocabulary are to be exposed to it, understand its meaning, understand how its constructed, and be able to practice and produce it. Teachability of the new vocabulary is what I consider to be the most important decision in choosing the vocabulary because it the word can not be explained without confusing the students or translating in their L1, then more easier words should be used until the student work up to it.
