To my mind, managing classes is an essencial part as either it helps to make teaching/learning process go smoothly or turns it into chaos. A teacher should take into consideration stdents' personality, nationality, age and a plenty of other factors to find a better way for interection with a class. I think non-verbal ways of communication such as gestures and eye-contact are quite important and at the same time difficult to use as different nationalies and cultures have different meanings of this or that gesture. I believe proper classroom arrangement and students cooperation will definitely help establish rapport between the teacher and students.
