This unit was very detailed in describing the separate clauses and how to form them. I learned that there are 3 different types of phrasal verbs and exactly how to use them. I think the best way to describe to a non-English speaker how to use a passive voice would be by showing examples of sentences where you present a non-passive voice and a passive voice of that same sentence just as they showed in this unit. Then after they become more familiar with what the passive voice is, have them create their own sentences. The best way I would describe the passive voice to a student would be that is is used most when we aren't sure of what we want to say.
