In Unit 9 methods of lesson planning were discussed. Teachers should write their plans with enough flexibility to be able to modify the lesson when necessary. The same holds true for planning multiple weeks of lessons. Several things are taken into consideration while planning. The time of each activity, the theme, the level of the students, a variety of modalities to hold the students' interest, etc. A teacher should be organized before class, and have goals both for herself and for the students to achieve by the end of the lesson. Also, the teacher will want to note afterwards where both she and the students had problems and what was accomplished.
