Teach English in JiAngbin Nongchang - Hegang Shi
This unit was about teaching writing and speaking skills. Accuracy vs. fluency has come up a few times in the course already, but I didn't really understand the difference between the two until this chapter. Associating writing with accuracy and speaking with fluency has been a helpful way for me to look at it. It seems like what writing exercises are useful will depend greatly on the native language of the students, while speaking exercises might be more universal. For example, whether or not the students' native language uses the roman alphabet would be important to consider, as well as the punctuation and layouts commonly used in their language.
