I found this unit to be much more challenging than I had expected. For example I caught myself forgetting the simple differences between present perfect and present perfect continuous (e.g., I have studied vs. I have been studying). I can understand why in the Tense System section it's mentioned that it often gives students and teachers the most difficulty.In this unit we discussed the different types of present tenses and there uses. I found this to be difficult and will continue to work on my usage of the different types of present tenses correctly. I did see the similarities of each tenses and I believe that is the reason why it is confusing and can see the importance of teaching this to children early on.
