The worksheets were good practice in doing both a straight ESA and a patchwork lesson. At this point the specific acceptable activities in the particular phases are still a bit cloudy in my mind...however the ideas that students need to speak as much as possible in the target language is clear. The emphasis on the correction process was particularly helpful.Unit 14 explains the use of course books and materials. Discribes the two types of materials used in the classroom, authentic and created. What the advantages and disadvantages of using the different materials. What makes up these materials. Authentic is items such as newspapers, magazines, and menus. Created items are flashcard, crosswords, picture stories.
