I studied this unit with great interest. I found the advice in teaching receptive skills truly enlightening. To become good readers and listeners it is important to acquire the necessary skills. A well prepared teacher should be able to address potential problems that their students might encounter when trying to understand both written and spoken language.This Unit covered the idea of past tense and its various forms, similar to the Unit on Present tense. This lesson also had some of its own content specifics like regular and irregular verbs specific to the past tense and several comments on misused past tense forms. I feel I learned quite a bit about Past Perfect Continuous and other forms of the past tense.
