Teaching of pronounciation is very important though most teachers neglect it.Pronounciation varies depending on where the speaker come from.Its also advisable to help students understand that they should feel the music of the language and add the stress naturally.Students should also consider the movements of mouth and lips when pronouncing some consonants.Overall, this lesson explained that the first day of class should focus on establishing rapport with students. Don't try and force grammar rules onto them in the beginning, rather get them excited about the environment and introduce yourself to make the environment comfortable. I also learned that pair work is very useful when trying to manage a large class.
