This unit provided insight into different kinds of testing and evaluation. It explained that there are different kinds of tests to be used at different times and for a variety of purposes. It also provided an example of some of the different kinds of tests. It further provides an explanation of some of the external tests that exist and what those tests evaluate.I enjoyed learning about the grammar of the English language. It is helpful to know the different categories of words (e.g. verbs, nouns etc) as well as the structure of sentences (e.g. SVO). I particularly found it interesting thinking about countable and uncountable nouns. I never knew that prepositions are defined in different ways e.g. time, movement, place.
