We learned about past tenses in this section. In general, they are not very different from present tenses. The structure is very similar to present tense but evidently past tenses relate to the past. We examined the structure of each past tense and the usage. We also received suggestions of activities and games that can help our students practice each past tense.This lesson is taught me a lot of things. I didn't know that certain words had to change from direct speech to reported speech. These are things that students need to be taught clearly, otherwise there will be confusion and misunderstandings. There are many specific set of rules that need to be followed in order for students to fully develop accuracy and fluency.
