In this unit we saw how important is pronunciation in teaching English. We learned what intonation and stress are and how it should be used in a sentence. We examined the phonemic alphabet and saw how it can be helpful in assisting our students for correct pronunciation. The video presented fun and useful games to help students develop their pronunciation skills.This unit covers modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice. Modals are used to express things like obligation, possibility, permission, advice, and ability using words such as can, could, may, might, shall, should, and must. Modals are formed using the base form of the main verb. In the passive voice, the object of the active voice sentence becomes the subject.
