I would say that teaching phonetics and phonology is the most difficul aspect during the lesson. Students are afraid of sounding funny. And some of english sounds are very difficult for them to pronounce, taking into consideration the lack of those in their native language.I think that the information given in this unit will help me to improve my teaching skills.Unit 13, relates to quite forgotten part of English study- phonology. Very helpful and informative chapter covering various matters regarding pronunciation and phonology. Unit 13, speaks about differences between: intonation, stress, phonemics symbols and articulation and is a great help for teachers who would teach pronunciation to their students in the future.
