Similar to the present tense unit, this was a simple English refresh course. But what I learned from this more than the actual tense is what common errors and sample teaching activities. I believe those will be much more helpful. The reason I say this is because knowing how others will make mistakes and how better to help them is the key to being a better teacher.Instead of asking students to perhaps sit a test at the end of a teaching unit, ask them to perhaps design an appropriate test. You could set guidelines regarding their skills, knowledge and the understanding to be tested, it perhaps could make them feel more comfortable in regards to testing and make them feel a bit more included as to what they may be tested on.
