This unit looks at the use of authentic material vs created materials, both are considered very usefull however each has their advantages and disadvantages. I have learnt how to use these materials by tailoring them to suit the students learnin needs. it is pertinent for the TEFL teacher to know how to choose materials that suitsfor the learners and their level.I still find it particularly difficult to identify an activity by the description of the activity. I battle to link it to ENGAGE ACTIVATE OR STUDY. I found from question 11 to 15 particularly difficult. I was also not entirely sure of question 4. I am not sure what activity to allocate to a particular part of the lesson - like which to allocate to Study 1 2 or 3.
