As an instructor in business context, most of the learning methods from this unit are familiar. However, as I'm used to teaching peers, I have yet to learn dealing with unruly and uninterested students. What I found especially useful is learning about the balancing of TTT and STT: when teaching Chinese high-school students it?s often easy to fall back to talking.Unit 7 focuses on teaching different areas of English, including vocabulary, grammatical structures, and language functions. Such different areas adopt different ESA methods. For instance, a typical vocabulary lesson may use the straight-arrow ESA structure whereas a language structure lesson may utilize the boomerang ESA structure as role plays become significant.
