This unit discussed teaching special groups, mainly young learners and business learners. These general groups can be comprised of different backgrounds and native languages which calls for flexibility and a general understanding of how a teacher can conduct such a class. The different groups will have different needs and purposes for learning the English language.This lesson provided a good reminder of the balance between both authentic, course books and other materials to the lesson and the advantages and disadvantages of each. There were also good examples of created materials included. In Mongolia, the teachers usually stick to the course book but I know this is not ideal as most students get bored of following the book.
