In this lesson, I learned about equipment and teaching aids used in the classroom. This includes the whiteboard and smart boards, the overhead projector, visual aids, worksheets and work cards, cassette recorders, CD players, videos and DVDs, video cameras, dictionaries, course books, resource books, photocopiers, computers, literature and poetry and online sources.This unit talks about how to teach receptive skills: listening and reading. Listening and reading have different motivations. One motivation is to read or listen with a purpose, such as listening to someone give directions to get to a particular place you are going. Another motivation is for pleasure, such as reading a novel you enjoy or listening to a comedian.
