I learnt productive skills is also important as receptive skills. Productive skills are used as expressing the new language just learnt and help practice in a comprehensive manner. As most of English learners have goals of improvement of English speaking, I assume that using productive skills can be very active part and high involvement of students during the lesson.The Engage->Study->Activate is the most important point to me from this unit. The information on when and how to correct students is also a very important point that applies to any teaching method and is woven into this unit. I like the different ideas suggested for the activate phase and I think this is probably one of the most difficult teaching stages to master.
