After completing this unit regarding course books and materials i am convinced that there is no single course material that should ever be used for a class. Regardless of the level of the students, the material used should always be interesting and changing. Just as I learned in Unit 3 about methods and techniques in teaching practices, it seems appropriate to maintain a balance for the material the students will be presented with and completing. Just as Students learn differently based on the teaching method, so will they learn differently with the tools used in the process. It only seems fair to maintain such a variety as appropriately applies to the students level. I find it would also be boring to go page by page through a book, such a method one could stay at home and learn alone. There should be an element in the learning process that the student should know they will not receive by learning alone or in any other class, and that if they should miss a session they will also miss out on the valuable delivery of information that only the teacher offers! I believe the reasons presented in this unit have convinced me that preparation and variety of material used in the class are very important to the success of the students.
