Being able to organize and manage a class of possibly different nationalities and different levels of English fluency. Using eye contact, gesture and voice, are different ways of being involved with the students to encourage them in learning English from each other and from the teacher. Your voice should have a degree of variation to create a effective teaching tool. Knowing the students names and when to use those names when interreacting with the students can help your teaching methods. Grouping students into small groups or pairs can help those students who tend to be shy, changing these groups and pairings can make the whole class more aware of each other and can help them learn more. To change the layout of the classroom can be steered by class size, smaller classes can be easily placed to make the class a more intimate nature. Writing on the board can present a challenge, in the fact that you are turning your back to the students. Giving instruction to the students either as a group or individually, you need to use simple languag, be consisitant, checking with the students there understanding of the instructions. Creating rapport with the students can be advantageous to the group and can help with discipline issue that may arise.
