So far this was the most familiar unit in this course. We have covered the 4 functions of why we write a lesson plan. Basic principles of lesson planning and what to do to ensure that your lesson goes smoothly. Then we focused on what should be included in the lesson plan. General information about the class( teacher, date/time/class level//room/context( for example Present Continuous tense)/expected number of students and the focus of the lesson-how we are going to teach the context) and the second part what should happen during the lesson. This part include teaching aid/Learner objectives/Teacher aims(this is new to me and I am going to use it in my future lesson plans=very helpful)Anticipated problems and solutions. Then we have the actual procedures with phases/timing and who interacts at the time.Teacher's and observer's names if necessary.The form on monitoring the lesson is something I am going to copy for my lessons.which will help me focus on each lesson's strength and weakness. Help me to develop as a teacher too.What to consider when planning sequence of lessons-flexibility/goals/revision/variety.I found the video very practical and the procedure of the study activities more clear now.First-self correct then peer then teacher!!!
