The roles of the teacher and student are very important and go hand-in-hand with each other. A teacher must be patient, kind, and entertaining to motivate students but also have good knowledge of the subject as well. The teacher shouldn't leave anyone out either. The class should feel like they are all equally involved. A teacher has many roles in a classroom as well and it is up the them to know which needs to be carried out. When a teacher has good qualities, students will be good students. They will participate more and have a desire to learn. Without the desire to learn, teaching would be more difficult. A good teacher will also make students feel more comfortable about making mistakes and that will motivate students to keep participating in class. It is up to the teacher to gauge what level their student is. There are many levels and you wouldn't want to teach a higher level student something they already know and is very basic. The same with a lower level student, you don't want to teach them a higher level curriculum. The relationship between a teacher and student is complex but if you have a great teacher who makes students feel motivated and more confident in their abilities, then you will have both a happy teacher and a happy student.
