Interesting introduction. I've been teaching in Vietnam now for almost 2 months so I could relate a lot of information to what I've experienced so far. I had a better understanding of the different levels of students, I had it clearly in front of my eyes when I imagined one of my classes (the differences between students). Furthermore very informative about the differences between adults and children/teenagers and the way they learn and study. Interestingly enough it made me realize that I am learning the Vietnamese language like a child, like a kid because I have so much contact with public school students aged 8-11/12. Some minor things I saw and would consider are the following: the most important factor in my opinion what makes a good teacher is that he/she should be devoted to teaching, I was missing that from the video. The second thing, instead of manager or controller I would probably call it leader, then my third point is related to this, namely I was missing from the listing of what makes a good teacher the point which would state something like this: the teacher looks at the students as (equal) partners, because they both rely on each other. There is no hierarchy just a difference in roles, in knowledge, and these roles can easily change.
