Teach English in BAwei Yaozu XiAng - Hechi Shi
Initially upon reading this chapter I felt that the specialized group that I would prefer would be children. Teaching young ones through use of emotional intelligence, empathy, and psychology appears to be very similar to parenting. Through creating an exciting and dynamic classroom, where children are often very overt in their emotions, the teacher gets immediate gratification for their efforts. Because I have a naturally ability to identify with and stimulate the minds of children, this type of group appears to be an exciting way to utilize my teaching skills. However, after reading more about teaching business groups, the structure and analytical aspect of teaching in a business setting is also exciting. Specifically, the different steps need to ensure that all students needs are met through individual evaluation and a needs negotiation session, caused my mind to begin thinking in an organizational and strategic fashion. I often excel in more challenging scenarios, and believe that I could develop a lesson plan that meets all needs, as well as, provide ongoing assessments and an excellent end report to management. While imagining one on one sessions would not be as stimulating, I remain open to any opportunity to assist others in learning English.
