This Unit covered the usage and differences between Authentic and Created materials. The main differences between the two were that the authentic mats were very good for confidence building, actual real sources that native language users would see and interact with and would be able to be gotten hold of easily. The created mats while although not from native speaker source would and could be tailored more towards students level and interests. The ideas for use of a coarse book, advantages and disadvantages that a coarse book gives as well as the good ideas to properly use and if you are lucky enough, how to choose one that will best fit your individual students and you as a teachers needs.
