This unit was about pronunciation and phonology. In the first part were given examples of different patterns of intonation and what is the speaker`s/listener `s intention/expectation. Different patterns of the intonation refer to a different purpose of communication. Some useful techniques for indicating and teaching intonation were given. The following part of the lesson was about stress. Main rules about word stress and more complexed rules were listed along with corresponding examples. Again techniques for indicating and teaching stress. The last part of the lesson contains an IPA and a whole section about Articulation. And the end - techniques for pronunciation of individual sounds.
