Unit 16 clarifies the correct forms and usages for a mind-boggling group of sentence usages called \"conditionals\". Once these usages are recognized and studied, the importance of understanding them becomes evident. Teaching conditionals would require patience and creativity but would pay off for the English speaker in terms of clarity of expression and understanding. The second part of this unit focuses on direct and reported speech. This is another function of English native speakers take for granted in spite of the many misunderstandings that misuse can cause. The task sheet was challenging. I especially focused on the Lesson Plan which is a true blueprint for my future teaching career.
