This unit focused on teaching equipment and teaching aids. It names and describes each piece of equipment and resource - what it is used for; how to use it optimally; and how to implement it practically in lessons. For me the most important and basic equipment is the white board, course/resource books, visual aids, work sheets and work cards. Other invaluable equipment must be a photocopy machine, computers for creating documents, slide shows etc. as well as access to the internet as a valuable resource. All other teaching aids are secondary and supplementary to these above mentioned few. These should be used to enrich lessons, and not detract from the learning or grammar point being taught.
