In this unit, I learned about teaching special groups. There are 5 categories for beginners: the absolute beginner, the false beginner, the adult beginner, the young beginner, and the beginner without roman alphabets. In all categories, we should be doing the following in our lessons: keep it simple, praise students as often as possible, use more visuals, be patient, use pair/group work often, and play interactive games frequently. I also learned about teaching individual groups and how they are one to one based, highly motivated, but usually tired. Teaching business English would mostly be about teaching general English to professional people and targeting the lesson to their needs for work.
