This unit defines the productive skills, their differences and how to present and teach in a manner that will help students be successful in learning accuracy and fluency. I learned a great many teaching ideas from the suggested activities provided in the lesson and importantly, what may reluctance in students to speak, which I feel is important for any teacher to be continually aware of and find ways to encourage the student so that they are comfortable with speaking. On a personal note, this lesson does strike a cord in that I had a teacher that mocked me when I was in elementary school because I was unable to pronounce a word, so I know first hand the fear of being perceived as \"stupid\
