This unit was a complex unit for me to follow. There are so many elements to remember when determining whether a sentence contains one part of speech or another, and how to convey to your students why certain sentences can be written in a different way, still mean the same thing, and also still be correct. This is a very complex part of the language to teach effectively without overwhelming the students. I think the most important thing for planning good lessons and teaching these concepts to the students, is to make sure that you yourself know exactly how and why everything 'works' so that you always appear confident and are able to clearly explain anything which the students are not clear with,
