This unit focused on conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences containing 'if'(or similar expressions such as 'when') which refer to past, present and future possibilities. There are two clauses , the 'if' and the main clause. We also looked at the five main conditionals such as; Zero, first, second, third, mixed/typical mistake/errors. Further more, as regards reported and direct speeches, we looked at the following; verb tenses, pronouns, and time expression. Lastly, each lesson provides typical students mistake/errors and teaching ideals. After a good mastery of this unit, i can say therefore that, it is necessary for the students to understand all the basic rules in grammar.
