This chapter was very useful for bringing the elements of all 7 types of future tenses together with some history of present tenses as well. I can begin to see the difficulties that some students would have identifying \"going to future\"tense, present simple (future meaning)tense and present continuous (future meaning) tense. I can also see for myself that nailing down the rules of each will be a necessity for being able to teach and answer questions in the future. Something interesting is digesting the tenses I use in every common day language and realizing that I only use 3 commonly. The others are on rare occasion and I can see them presenting challenges teaching non native english speakers.
