This unit gave an example of a good teaching lesson and a weaker one. Attitude of the teacher and it's impact on students was the most notable thing I observed. Also how the teacher presents a task and uses their language can really effect a students participation and comfort level in the class. For example in lesson two the teacher started with a game about animals. Animals were a topic the students clearly felt comfortable with and therefore were keen to impress. However, there were still teaching and learning opportunities within this task. The teacher also elicited verbs from students which they also could manage. This made the introduction of the modal axially verb a lot more straightforward.
