This unit covered the management of classroom dynamics. This is one of the most important aspects of a successful teacher. The ability to maintain the respect of the students while keeping good rapport is a particular challenge. The topics covered included Gestures, Grouping, Classroom arrangements, Attention given to students, Student and Teacher talk time, as well as other concepts a teacher should be keen on. Much of the lesson learned in this unit is that using common sense and remaining calm is crucial for teaching well but also understanding the counterintuitive ideas such as not yelling to gain control or not directly responding to the person with bad behavior but only to tge behavior itself.
